Master password for ALL Gizmos

If you have the Innomedia and can't get this to work, try this link.

According to a reputable source:

For all 3 gizmos:

1-- AC-211, AC-211n
2-- INNOMEDIA (MTA-6329, MTA-6329re)
3-- LINKSYS (SPA-2102)

the master logins are:

USER: admin
PASSWORD: 7UprUtew

If the login screen doesn't ask for a username (like the AC-211), just input the password.

How do I get to the login screen on the Linksys. Using the IP doesn't seem to be enough. I have it on a router, maybe I need to hook a computer straight to the device?

N said...

Okay so once we're in on the Linksys SPA-2102 adapter, which setting do you change to make this adapter "unlocked?" Can someone please provide that info and be as specific as possible. Just saying "go unlock it or change provisioning" isn't specific enough. Which tab? Which field? Thank you.

dmolavi said...

i don't have one, but look for it under an administration or management tab. it'll either be called autoconfiguration or provisioning.

Svetlana said...

It is not working on my ac-211 sr either. I have also tried running both password crack programs, and the password it came up with does not fit either. What should I do.

they are case sensitive. also make sure you have no leading/trailing spaces when you copy/paste them.

what is the link to pop up the log on screen for the linksys SPA?

Thanks in advance.

dmolavi said...

try this:

On the Linksys, web admin access is disabled.

To enable it, pick up phone, dial **** then 723646# , when asked for
password, dial 78778839# , when asked for value dial 1# then dial 1 to
save.
Then, go to »192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced , enter user and password.

If gizmo behind router, you also need to enable access from WAN side
with option 7932# . Of course, substitute gizmo WAN address in above
URL. To hear it, use option 110# .

The password I have just gotten from running the two programs posted earlier is ~~u*9 and it does not work... Even when I type it in manually *rather tan copying and pasting), things do not change. Cna anyone help?

dmolavi said...

if you're trying via the LAN, try via the WAN, or vice versa.

Unknown said...

woah! svetlana! after lots of failed passwords, your "~~u*9" worked on my ac-211sr!

now if only i could figure out what to do now that i'm inside in admin mode.

dmolavi said...

i believe its in the SIP menu (i don't have my gizmo with me right now). you want to disable auto-configuration.

Andrew said...

dmolavi,

I followed your instructions, but it said invalid password to

78778839#

Is there another possible password?

Svetlana said...

Mine is till not working. I have tried it via LAN and WAN, as dmlovai suggested - still no luck

dmolavi said...

Andrew - No idea :(

Svetlana said...

OK, it looks like I am finally "in". Being an absolutely non-technical person, I will need your help. Can anyone tell me, what should I do (in details, if possible) in order to use this gizmo with another service provider? Thank you, all

dmolavi said...

svetlana, i believe its in the SIP menu (i don't have my gizmo with me right now). you want to disable auto-configuration.

your new provider will tell you how to provision it.

Svetlana said...

dmolavi,
the sip menu does not give me the autoconfiguration option at all. here is the list of items it does have in the SIP configuration menu:

So here's where I'm at,

I've signed up with ViaTalk on their BOYD plan and they've given me the SIP information for my gizmo. But when I go to 192.168.0.1 I cannot log in as the admin. I've tried admin/7UprUtew but it fails. I've also been able to dial into the phone with **** followed by 723646#. It asks for a password and 78778839# does not work. So is there anything else I can do to get this thing to work with ViaTalk, or should I have them send out a new box? Is it likely that somebody will find out the new passwords? Or will calling linksys help?

Thanks,
Andrew

I'm in the admin interface on my SPA2102 and want to turn off the autoconfig/provisioning so they don't have a chance to change the admin password.

There is a "Provisioning" tab on the admin interface. It has "Provision Enable" (yes/no) as the first option. Is this what I want to disable?

Just want to be sure as our phone still works for the moment and I cannot find any good documentation on the admin interface. Anyone know of any?

dmolavi said...

jae - yes

Unknown said...

jae, what password did you use to login to the spa 2102? Some us us here are needing it. Please help....

Dane said...

I have an InnoMedia MTA 6328-2Re. I can get to the login page but none of the passwords posted help. My router lists the device as 192.168.2.24 Any help out there. I got screwed by Sunrocket and can't dial anything on the phone. It is dead. Is there a way to dial into the device? I'm somewhat of a novice at this stuff.

Unknown said...

dmolavi, please help us to find another passwd to activate the web base usage of the spa 2102. Thx a lot ........

Unknown said...

The 7UprUtew password worked for me.

Unknown said...

strange, it did not work for me. Too bad :(

Unknown said...

I disabled provisioning (set "Provision Enable" to no) and afterwards my phone didn't have a dial tone. Re-enabled it and the dial tone came back.

Is there a way to disable their ability to remotely configure the device without killing the service (while it lasts)? I'd like the phone to work until we can switch to a new provider.

dmolavi said...

jae - i don't know, as i don't have the linksys gizmo

Will said...

Yes, it would appear so. I did a couple things - first, I shut off autoconfigure (Wan->AutoConfigure tab, if you've got the same sort of box I do). After that, I also disabled external access to the web interface (Security->Access) - if you do this, make sure you leave LAN access on. Or if you're behind a firewall/router, leave them both on, as you like. I've tested and it's still calling fine after these changes were made. Now I'm trying to find a good list of SIP-based providers that have a decent presence in NC...

Any body have any luck with Innomedia? I tried logging in using the USN / PWD combination - it seems to accept my logon but then it prompts me again for authentication and keeps doing it and never lets me logon.

Worked for me -- on my MTA 6328-2Re. I logged in to http://my.ip.addr.ess/Voice_adminPage.htm and then clicked "IP Network"/"Provisioning Settings" and unchecked "Enable Provisioning". I think that means I'm ready for Via Talk.

Avi Alpert said...

Any other possible passwrods for the Linksys - at first I got access and when I went to advanced setting I had to enter a password. None listed here worked and now I have to enter a pssword to enter it at all.

Anyway to reset it to figure out the password?

Jesse Newell said...

Hey All,

For the Linksys try using "user" as the username and "7UprUtew" for the password, i did this after performing a factory reset via phone and am now able to access fine

Avi Alpert said...

How do you do a factory reset via phone?

Unknown said...

Hi folks -- forgive my extreme ignorance; I am acting fr desperation as my SR work line is dead, and I want to be able to get up & running ASAP. Sounds like Via Talk is the way to go, so I want to unlock gizmo. I have downloaded the CRACK program, and see the various passwords etc. But where exactly am I going "in" to do this? At Sunrocket site? Via my computer somehow? Similar to what Blibman was asking I suppose -- how do I get the program to USE the passwords etc? I have a AC 211. Thanks in advance

Perfecto said...

Like Mike I need more help specially up front the calling part I got but the web site address I am lost. Do we connect the gizmo directly to the modem?

Jesse Newell said...

Factory Reset ****73738 Press 1 to confirm.
Press * (star) to cancel.
If necessary, enter the password. The Phone
Adapter will request confirmation; enter 1 to
confirm. You will hear, “Option successful.”
Hang up the phone. The Phone Adapter will
reboot, and all settings will be reset to their
factory default settings.

Please, Please, tell me where do I start to unlock the gizmo, the computer... the actual box where?? so I can at least forward my SR number,I unfortunately, do not understand any of the wonderful tech stuff you are writing, our # is also for our home business no calls no eats.Thank You

if you are behind the ata then default for the linksys should be http://192.168.0.1/

Baski said...

Hi petehayward, I have the same gizmo as you (mta6328-2re). Can you spell out which password worked for you?

Ahmed Rezwan said...

I also did a factory reset now Im unable to access the config page because in the telephone it says invalid pasword and when I try to go to the http://192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced it sais forbidden, Can anyone plz help me with this situation

Unknown said...

I think they pushed out new passwords last night. I was able to get into my SPA2102 yesterday with the 78778839/7UprUtew password. I was able to unlock it and get into the admin interface.

But I didn't turn off provisioning because when I did we lost the dialtone. The phone was still sort of working at that point, so I didn't want to kill it completely.

This morning trying to log again didn't work. Tried the phone menu system again with the same password and received the 'invalid password' message.

Also tried slapshot which didn't work.

So if you still have access and haven't turned provisioning off, you might want to do so now.

BTW. If anyone figures out the new password I'd appreciate hearing about it.

Sue in N.Y. said...

user with 7UprUtew worked for me...not admin...

however I cannot expand the page to get SIP tabs...

My ADMIN digit unlock for password 78778839# is simple "invalid"

Jennifer said...

Thanks. admin/7UprUtew worked on our Gizmo long enough to turn off provisioning, and then log in one more time to enter the SIP credentials for another service.

But a few hours later, after I power cycled the Gizmo, when I tried to log into it again, admin/7UprUtew no longer works right. Upon entering it, the browser clicks several times (which it doesn't do if the password is wrong), so I think the password itself is unchanged, but instead of loading the admin page, it redirects to index.html and asks for another password. And admin/7UprUtew does NOT work there.

user/welcome still works, but I can't update critical settings without the admin login.

Any idea how to get past that?

Jennifer said...

Hmm. I'll be darned. I tried it a dozen times or more without success. Then after posting that last comment, I tried one more time and got in. I have no idea why it wasn't working before and did now. Didn't restart or anything.

Hey you! said...

Hi blasky

The password that worked for me was the one in the main post:

USER: admin
PASSWORD: 7UprUtew

Good luck to all. I still have not heard back from viatalk after 36 hrs.

imfrotmexas02 said...

I'm still hung up on the reset to unlock admin login capabilities. I'm using a 2102 and when I enter in the password 78778839# it's coming back as invalid. Does anyone know an alternate password that will unlock the admin login?

imfrotmexas02 said...

Actually I have a correction for that last post. According to an earlier post by dmolavi...
"On the Linksys, web admin access is disabled.

To enable it, pick up phone, dial **** then 723646# , when asked for
password, dial 78778839# , when asked for value dial 1# then dial 1 to save."

When I dial **** then 723646# it doesn't ask for a password. It asks for a value. When I enter 1#, then 1 to save, it says "value saved" but then I still can't access 192.168.0.1/admin/voice/advanced. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have contacted Linksys tech support and spoke with a senior tech who stated the device is configured for surocket use only and that he does not know of a "backdoor" password. The only password to unlock the device is created by sunrocket. Linksys also said they are aware of the issue sunrocket customers are having. He sounded sympathetic to my problem but can offer no help at this time. My support case is still open and if I receive any new info on how to unlock the SPA2102 I will post my findings here.

on my Linksys 2102, I was able to get in with the following credentials

USER: admin
PASSWORD: 7UprUtew

and have set "provision enable" to false

Should I be changing the resync on reset and resync from SIP settings too ?

In case you are looking for screen shots, I found the following

I got mine to work using "user" as the username and "7UprUtew" as the password. Then once I got to the main page i logged in to admin page using "admin" as the username and "7UprUtew" as the password. This is for the linksys. Hope this helps.

i can't unlock the darn innomedia. no problem with ac211 pass but also can't get it to work properly with voipcheap (get reorder when making calls) Anyone know if you need a specific dialplan for the gizmo to work somewhere else? By the way. I've had the sunrocket credentials for at least a year now and my SPA1001 unlocked ATA still logs into their sipservers as registered. is Friday the day it goes dark?

Thanks for the reply Bob. I was actually able to email Linksys as well, and their reply was that Sunrocket still owes them money. This may have to do with their abundance of sympathy but lack of knowledge on how to actually fix anything.

I've tried all the possible password but my Innomedia 6328-2Re still won't let me get in as admin, I plan to reset it to factory default after my SunRocket service down.

This looks like a promising page! I also have an Innomedia 6328. I'm trying endlessly to get the admin page to come up so I can upload firmware.

I have tried many variations on the 192.x.x. theme, but nothing comes up. 192.168.251.1/Voice_adminPage.htm is the original one I'm trying for.
I was able to get there in once, days ago, but had flawed firmware at the time, supposedly now I have fixed ware.

I believe the problem is I can not get the RUN light to go from its happy stable green light state to a blinking state, no matter how many times or how long I unplug/replug power or press the RSTR button.

I have also tried the phone numbers suggested on this page (busy signal comes up as soon as I punch the 2nd * or the first #).

Is there any way to break the calm of my Innomedia and get a blinking green light? Is there any way to get any admin page so I can upload my new firmware? I am correctly plugged from Lan to powerbook.

Thanks for any suggestions on how to make the light blink! or get the admin page up.

catgil3 said...

Thank you for the link. Unfortunately, I can't get to step 2, because the 192etc page won't come up. No page will come up it seems. From what I understand, the green light needs to go to blinking first, so I'm guessing that's the problem.

Saint Nick said...

This is a hardware reset to factory default. This is from the INNOMedia Administrator Manual for the SIP MTA63228Re Manual version 4.2.16. Most routers have one.

In the back of the MTA press the "RSTR" button for 5 seconds. You need a paper clip to push the button. The defaults will return to 192.168.99.1 IP Adress. The default "Admin" and "password".

Good luck to you all.

I got an AC-211-SR on ebay and ran the crack program followed by the CRC program found elsewhere on this blog to recover the password. The password was "~~s#U" without the quotes. I used that password to successfully unlock the device. Just thought I'd share that since it may save someone some hours of running the crack program.

I seem to be in the same predicament as catgil3 - have a run light that is steady green and would not blink no matter how hard, and how long the rstr button is pressed. Matter of fact now I do not even hear the 'click' sound when I depress the rstr button. Is there any other way to get this gizmo into the flashable mode? thanks.
