WARNING!!! Class Action Lawsuit Page

There is a post on DSLReports.com with a link to a SunRocket Class Action Lawsuit page. The page is supposedly "maintained by the law firm handling the class action", however they do not identify themselves anywhere on the page. Further, the WHOIS locator for the domain reveals an anonymous (private) registration:

The signup form requests your email address, SunRocket account number, and other sensitive personal identification material. My recommendation at this point is to not give any information to this site, as the operators are unknown.

Good advice! I hope others see this and take heed, I know it sure put me off when I could find no mention of who is collecting this information and once I saw what information they wanted there was no way I was going to fill that out!

How are they going to get anything out of a bankrupt company?

I think it's funny that this "lawsuit" site has advertisement for a sunrocket alternative. and that alternative being ViaTalk. I would suspect ViaTalk of setting this up as a way to try n get even more customers.

Sign me up if this is legit. I lost $100/$199 on this bogus garbage.

This whole thing pisses me off! No ex sunrocket customer should use the companies there offering as a replacement, why should we give business to a bunch of companies that are trying to make a quick buck off abandoned customers, if they really were looking out for us they would be offering us special deals, not just one month for free, im out over $100 plus that damn modem!

I just want my money back. I paid over $200 (including the $199 + activation etc.) for what ammounted to less than three months service. There was no warning that the company was in any sort of financial trouble, let alone any warning to find new phone service because Sunrocket was closing. I feel defrauded, violated, and plain old cheated. I'm sure the two CEOs of the company are sitting pretty with big fat golden parachutes. Does anyone remember Enron? I do think a class action lawsuit is in order. If done properly, legal fees can be included in the cost of the suit. Unfortunately, the only site that said it was organizing such a suit turned out to be bogus. We, the stranded and screwed, need to band together. Anyone in?

This string is started by people who collected millions of dollars from annual plan and now to run away with money and opening new company. EVERYBODY MUST PROVIDE BASIC INFO ONLY TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT. I WOULD BECAUSE SUNROCKET TOOK MY MONEY TOO. Let's go after who cheated us. You don't have to give sensitive info such as SS No., DOB but only sunrocket phone number and address, etc.

Click on "SunRock Alternatives" link and the page has only one Alternative, Viatalk. LOL. Bring your mouse over the link of Viatalk and it has link of affiliatecenter.viatalk.com/...id=... Seems like someones making money through referrals.
